Established in 1951

It was the year 1951 in Macomb Oklahoma when students of Macomb Public Schools attended our association’s very first alumni banquet.  Handwritten records reflect a huge turnout with nearly 250 students in attendance. The first banquet was held in the old gym that use to stand where the current parking lot is for the gym which was built between 1987-1988.  There was games, food, singing and dancing until the late evening hours. Cost to attend the banquet was recorded at just over $2.00 per person.

Prayer's for Gail Cooks

Gail Cooks has meant so much to me and I don't think I've ever expressed that to her on what an impact she has made. I remember seeing her cutting up, being a friend to many and always observed her smiling. Please remember to say a prayer for her as she makes her recovery from having a stroke.

Ringing the Bell

I often find myself thinking of recess reflecting on the simple things in life... The joy of being a kid. The bell ringing reminds me of how life lessons are learned when it's time to enjoy and time to take care of responsibilities.

School Spirit

I was raised to value those who took time to teach me and have always been thankful to those who did.  I wouldn't be the man I am today without the school that taught me how to do life. I believe in giving back to my community and that's why I have been actively involved in our association all these years.
