It was the year 1951 in Macomb Oklahoma when students of Macomb Public Schools attended our association’s very first alumni banquet. Handwritten records reflect a huge turnout with nearly 250 students in attendance. The first banquet was held in the old gym that use to stand where the current parking lot is for the gym which was built between 1987-1988. There were games, food, singing, and dancing until the late evening hours. The cost to attend the banquet was recorded at just over $2.00 per person.
